Open the back cover. Pull the back cover lock and the back will rise. Open the back cover to its maximum. The QL cover will also open simultaneously and be ready for loading film.
Insert cartridge. Raise the rewinding knob sufficiently, then insert the cartridge. After insertion, push the knob back to its former position and put the fork into the axis of the cartridge. If the knob doesn't fully return, turn it slightly to the left or right to properly position it.

Close the back cover. When the back cover is half-closed, the QL cover will press down on the film. Check through the sprocket window to ensure the film is correctly engaged onto the gear. Merely press the cover to firmly lock it.
