Pushing a stick further from the center increases the speed of the corresponding movement. The aircraft hovers when sticks are centered. Always push the throttle stick up slowly to take off after starting motors.

If your DJI Air 3 drone is not turning on, first check if the battery has power. If it has power but still won't turn on normally, you should contact DJI support. For more information, see page 108 of the manual.

  • The battery will only charge when the temperature is between 5° and 40° C (41° and 104° F). Charging stops if the battery cell temperature is not within this range, or if an excess current or short circuit is detected.
  • Do not charge the Intelligent Flight Battery immediately after flight if it is too hot; wait for it to cool down.
  • If the battery level LEDs blink for maintenance or a maintenance prompt appears in DJI Fly, fully charge the battery and let it rest for 48 hours. If the problem persists, contact DJI Support.
  • If any battery protection mechanisms are activated, unplug and plug in the charger again to resume charging. If the charging temperature is abnormal, wait for it to return to normal.

Your DJI Air 3 drone may not be taking off if the status indicators are blinking red slowly, which means takeoff is disabled, for example, due to a low battery. You should view the warning prompt in DJI Fly for specific reasons. Additionally, ensure you have completed all steps in the pre-flight checklist and that the aircraft is placed on a flat and steady surface.   2. Power on the aircraft and connect it to the computer via the USB-C port within 20 seconds.
  3. Select DJI Air 3 and click Firmware Updates.
  4. Select the firmware version.
  5. Wait for the firmware to download and install automatically.
  6. Wait for the firmware update to complete.

To update the remote controller firmware using DJI Assistant 2, follow similar steps, but select the remote controller instead of the aircraft.

  • The vision systems cannot work properly near surfaces without clear pattern variations, or where the light is too weak (40,000 lux).
  • Flying near monochrome surfaces, highly reflective surfaces, water, transparent surfaces, or surfaces without clear patterns or textures.
  • Flying near moving surfaces or objects, or in an area with frequent and drastic lighting changes.
  • If the Obstacle Avoidance Action is disabled in DJI Fly settings.
  • In Sport Mode, obstacle sensing is disabled.
  • When flying near flight limits or in a GEO zone, APAS may not function properly.
  • If the aircraft is flying near obstacles that are too small to detect or with the propeller guard.

Always ensure the sensors are clean and not obstructed.
