I use Kaspersky Plus. The VPN is fast, and features like split tunneling and kill switch seem to be functional. The antivirus has not failed me yet, and it makes me feel safer in my day-to-day browsing. I omitted a star because I wish that features like anti-ad and anti-tracker were available on the app version (they are available on the PC version). I'm also not a fan of the password manager; I prefer 1Password's autofill and UI."
I guess the anti-virus works, cause I never seen to get one. However, I'm sick and tired of Kaspersky automatically updating my installed apps. When searching Google for a way to fix this, all of the pages listed are ones from Kaspersky's support site However, all were dated either 2018 or 2019. Regardless NONE of the workarounds were applicable to the current app version. For this reason alone, I'm uninstalling this app."
It does prevent websites from downloading stuff to the device when it looks suspicious. Also it checks that a network is secure and if it is not, it will show a notification above all other notifications, which is nice. Other than that I didn't encounter much else. I guess I just don't do enough iffy stuff on the phone for it to trigger. The desktop version is a champ though."
