Leica SL3-P camera rumors
The previously rumored new/upcoming Leica SL camera (based on the Panasonic S1RII) will most likely be called Leica SL3-P:
- 44.3MP sensor (based on the Panasonic S1RII)
- Improved AF (better than the SL3-S)
- Video capabilities could be lower than those of other SL3 models
- Rumored to be announced around May 2026
- The new Leica SL3-P model will be positioned between the current Leica SL3 (60MP) and the Leica SL2-S (24MP)
- New Leica SL camera model based on the Panasonic S1RII rumored to be announced next year
- Leica SL3 “Reporter” camera officially announced
- Two new Voigtlander M-mount lenses to be announced at the 2026 CP+ show: Apo-Skopar 75mm f/2.8 & Apo-Lanthar 90mm f/4 (VM)
- Leica introduced five new SL3-S camera/lens kits/bundles
- Leica Noctilux M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens officially announced
