Breaking News English Lesson: Retirement

Many people want to retire overseas. A lifestyle magazine said Greece was the best place they found for 2026. The magazine looked at what was important for people who wanted to retire overseas. These included the climate and the cost of living. It is the first time for Greece to be the number-one choice.

Greece is "beautiful, welcoming, and affordable". A Greek website said people love Greece because of its beauty. It has a beautiful coastline, lots of sunshine, great countryside, mountains, and paradise islands. A woman who moved to Greece four years ago loves the Greek way of taking life slowly.
