Solar System

All the orb bodies that revolve around the sun and their space are called the solar system. The celestial bodies that make up the solar system include the eight planets revolving around the sun and the sun, the dwarf planets, satellites orbiting around each planet, and numerous asteroids, comets, and meteors. The planet’s orbital plane is almost the same as the Earth’s orbital plane. All planets revolve in the same direction. The far from the sun, the slower revolve.

Mass of the solar system

The sun occupies more than 99% of the total mass of the solar system. Most of the rest of the mass is occupied by planets. Dwarf planets, satellites, asteroids, comets, and planets are only a fraction of the solar system’s total mass. The sun is the only object in the solar system that emits its own light. Other celestial bodies can not produce light themselves and reflect light from the sun.
