Speaking two days after their historic achievement, Miura shared, “I’ve been receiving so many messages, and it’s finally starting to feel real little by little.”
Kihara added with a smile, “I was finally able to sleep last night, and that’s when it hit me— – realized that we actually won gold.”
The show’s host, Shinichiro Azumi, asked, “I’ve heard you’ve been living together in Toronto while training. Do you ever argue with one another?”
Miura smiled and replied, “We rarely have any disagreements about skating, but we do often have little arguments in our daily lives.” Laughing, she added, “It’s like sibling quarrels.”
